Mmm, these are so moreish – me
I love bagels and have written before about how yummy the New York Bakery Co range is. Now, they’ve launched its first ever crowd sourced recipe book filled with 20 bagel recipes submitted by fans across the UK.
Divided into recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, the new cookbook is available to download for free from the New York Bakery Co Facebook page.
I’m loving the ‘5th Avenue Fill-Up’ a toasted Red Onion & Chive bagel with American mustard, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red pepper and gherkins – I just leave out the pastrami, or replace with some veggie spicy beef-style slices, and go easy on the gherkins.
And Mark is a fan of the ‘Wakey Wakey’ – a plain bagel filled with dry-cured ham, chorizo, streaky bacon and creamy scrambled egg. Lots of brownie points for this one!
Meanwhile, for my fish-loving friends, I’m planning on serving up the ‘Smokin Salmon Supper’ – a wholemeal bagel with cream cheese, vine tomatoes and fresh smoked salmon as picture up top. Looks amazing, doesn’t it?
Download the book for yourself from the New York Bakery Co Facebook page.
